Swag 004 - Resin Applique for Furniture & Crafts is a generously sized floral swag, bursting with roses and foliage – perfect when you want a wide, romantic accent across the front of a piece. It looks beautiful on blanket boxes, vintage trunks, headboards and large drawer fronts, and pairs perfectly with Drop 019 to create a full garland-with-tails look as shown in the example image.

The swag and drops are sold separately, so you can keep things simple with just the swag, or build a more dramatic, custom arrangement by adding Drop 019 at each end.

Styling Tips:

• For a storybook blanket box, place Swag 004 across the front, paint in a soft chalky pastel, then gently dry-brush Old White over the petals so the flowers look like old carved timber.
• Create a romantic bedhead by using the swag centred near the top of a painted wooden headboard, with Drops 019 at each end – perfect in soft neutrals or dusty pinks.
• On a vintage trunk or sideboard, try a deeper colour (ink blue, olive or charcoal), keep the swag in the same shade, then add depth with Dark or Black Wax so the shadows settle into the floral detail.
• For a hint of shimmer, once everything is waxed and dry, tap a tiny amount of Copper or Silver Gilding Wax just on the highest petals to echo your handles or hinges and catch the light.
